After finding little passion in the corporate world, owner and head baker Mario Grosso found his way out of a rut through butter, flour, and sugar. Over the course of three difficult (though tasty) years, he taught himself how to bake and develop original signature recipes from scratch.
Once people started asking for the recipes, Mario turned entrepreneur and decided to start charging his sweet-toothed fans. He quickly sprung from “the office baker” to serving a broad market throughout New York City, from sponsoring bake sales at elementary schools to events and holiday parties at corporate offices.
In 2012, he became a part of Smorgasburg at the Brooklyn Flea, serving hungry New Yorkers and international tourists alike. Then, he decided to give his whisk a whirl at wholesale, adding his brownies to menus at several shops throughout Manhattan. Now, he's turned his focus toward the web for everyone from coast to coast to enjoy these fudgy treats!
